Community solar installations consist of large solar arrays which are virtually connected "subscribers". The energy produced by the array offsets the utility bills of a group of subscribers.   These subscribers are typically those who either aren't able to place solar panels on their own property for a variety of reasons including:

·         No roof space or shaded roof space

·         Older roof or wrong roofing material

·         Condo / Co-op board rules

·         Municipal zoning codes prohibitive of solar

·         They rent their home rather than owning it

Subscribers will typically see a reduction in their electric rates of 15% or more with no out of pocket investment.
